C is for.....

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter C. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their C element will be featured in their post.

If you came from Josie's Joy then you're on the right track!

"C" is for Celebrate Clementine, Cameo, and Chevrons!

The past few weeks have been terribly busy around here.  We've just had a lot of stuff going on, and I didn't think I was going to be able to finish up C.  But, my sweet daughter came to my rescue.  My daughter, JaiLynn, is 18. She's never really been into scrapbooking. Her friends would come over and love to hang out in my scrap studio, but she just wouldn't do much of anything in there. Until this last year. I bought her a smash book for her senior year and she has done some amazing things in it. The book is totally cute!  So, when I mentioned this week was letter C and I didn't think I would have time to finish anything, she jumped right in to help.

Here are the amazing cards she made:

 Celebrate Clementine:
Supplies Used: All items CTMH unless noted: Clemetine paper, Sorbet, Creme Brulee & Twilight Ink, Card Chatter-Birthday stamps, Heart to Heart stamps, Summer Wishes stamps, Burlap Ribbon, Clementine flower accents; Cottage asst

Digital Stamps

I know I'm a little behind here, but this is my first try at digital stamps. I thought it would be to much trouble to learn how to "get" them. But, after a few unzips, saves, and all that techy stuff, it finally worked out.

I downloaded several from Tiddly Inks, which has some totally cute stuff!! It was so hard to decide on which ones to get. The one I am sharing today was a FREE one!! This is an awesome way to try digi stamps. She was just so cute, I couldn't wait to download and color her.  If you'd like to download her, she is here  Ellie

I am a CTMH consultant, but I do use lots of other products as well. I love so many different things, it would be hard to just do one company only :)  Here are the supplies used on this card:
Tiddly Inks digi stamp "Ellie", Paper Smooches "Smoocheroos" for the word Love, CTMH cardstock, Authentique Essentials Collection PP, Prima flower, Doodlebug paper posie, Misc stick pin, CTMH twine, pearls, glitter brad, and Paper Studio lace. Coloring was done with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. If you have Spectrum Noirs here are the numbers I used: Balloons: BT1, BT2, BT4, BT5, BT7; Elephant: BG2, BG4, BG6, BG8; Ears: PP1, PP3

I linked this up to the Spectrum Noir Challenge for the month.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to come back tomorrow for the ABC Blog hop!

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

I used some older Close to my Heart paper that I've been hoarding. I love every piece of paper in the pack, and just couldn't part with it. But, as soon as I knew B was coming up, I couldn't think of anything but this butterfly paper.

I also used the Close to my Heart, Art Philosophy cricut cartridge for the scallop, circles, and butterfly. I stamped on the wings using the Save the Date stamp set (no longer available, but I know several who have some if you are interested, please comment)

The only thing not Close to my Heart is the Washi tape. I love using Washi tape. It gives the look of ribbon, but not the bulk. CTMH does have some Washi coming in the new book, but I don't have my order in yet. I can't wait to get some.

Scrapbooking = Make me some money!

I've been an avid scrapbooker since 2002. I've always love to color, cut, and paste (all the great things we learned in Kindy). Once I found a few pieces of paper and some great ideas online 11 years ago, I've never looked back!

I love to use lots of different products, mixing and matching brands. There are so many things to add and they are all super cool. But, over the years, I found I was always coming back to Close to my Heart for my "core" products.  I was in a club for many years, and last year decided to take the plunge and sell what I love. I'll be honest and admit that last year I didn't really work my business. I had a club that my friend and I co-clubbed :) This year, we had enough customers to split up. Now, I have my own club and almost enough to start a second club! If you are interested in joining my club, please , contact me here. You don't have to be local if you'd like to join. Email me and I would love to let you know how it works.

Pemberly

The layout and cards today are from the Pemberly paperpack from CTMH. This pack was featured in last season's book, but carried over to the new one. This was one of the first sets I ordered, because I loved the blues and the print on the patterned papers. I felt like this was such a versatile pack!

I made 4 cards using the same pattern on all of them. I love doing the same style card with different sentiments. I think it makes a great little on the go gift if you need something quick! Just put them together with some envelopes, tie a bow around and done.

These were all made with Pemberly patterned paper, white cardstock, some CTMH blue buttons, and white twine. Ink and stamps were also CTMH.

Now for the layout. I haven't added my pictures to this one yet, as I'm not sure which ones I will use. Banners are still very on trend for layouts and cards. And I love them. I've used a few on the sides to give it a small something extra in places where it just looked  to plain.  For the upper left corner, the white butterflies came from CTMH. I just stamped a little image on each one to make them different in the same colors that I used in my layouts to make them flow.
