Just a few presents

I've been working on a few little gifts this past week. I belong to a stamp club that meets one Friday each month. There are around 10 or so ladies that meet. It's such a great time and everyone just enjoys each other. So, I decided to make a little something for each one for the Christmas holiday.

If you scrapbook and make cards, then you know the new "in" embellishment to add is a stick pin. You can make lots of assorted pins yourself, or buy them already premade. They have some beautiful pins out there! But, where do you keep them so you can see them when you are ready for one and so you won't forget them? This is where my present idea came from.  I made pin cushions. They are so simple and I just love how they are turning out. Here are a few that I have already made. I'm still working on making several more.

Here they are all together:

Oh, and great news for me!! I found a way to make an inexpensive light tent box thing..... hopefully it will improve the lighting of my pictures. All of my things look so dark and drab, but in person they aren't. My next project is the light box, so let's hope I get it finished fast.

Be Scary...

I decided to use some colors that weren't typically used for Halloween on this one. I love the pop of teal and (of course) glitter.  I do have one more idea after this post for a Halloween card, then I will get to move on to Thanksgiving, then Christmas!!

Again, I really wish you could see the detail in this card. The glitter is so great!!

Glittery Frankenstein

This stamp is one from the dollar spot at Michael's. I skipped over all of these a time or two, but decided to run back and get them. Unfortunately, by the time I made it back I missed out on a couple :( But, I'm lovin' the ones I did find!

Supplies: SU cardstock, KI Memories pp; Nestabilities; SU punch; Recollections sticker; Copic markers & Spicas

I'm still working on taking better pictures. I am on vacation for a few days so this one was finished in time to take a picture outside but, it's a little overcast. Which made for a gray look to the picture anyway. Since I only make stuff for fun, I don't want to invest a lot of money in to a light box, light, and all that stuff. Is there a cheap way to make my pics look great?

Give me all your Candy...#2

I am on a roll with this stamp. It's just so cute.  I colored it using Copics and Spica. The glitter just pops off the card, I really wish you could see it.

I used Nestabilities to frame behind my main image and for the inside of the card.

Give me all your candy...or else!!

This stamp cracked me up. I love the saying and the little vampire. I picked it up at Hobby Lobby today and came home and used it immediately. This makes 3 Halloween cards. I hope to get 5 or 6 more finished in time to send a few out before Halloween.

Ghoulin' Around

Another Halloween post today.  I am so excited about Halloween this year. I can't wait to get all the decorations out of the shed and decorate. I just have to get hubby on board to help, which might take a little more convincing. ;0)

This card was made using last years CTMH Halloween kit. The colors and fun stamp set are awesome to work with. The cute little guys can be made any way you want them. The kit is called Hooligans. I spiced up my little guys with some CTMH Prisma Glitter, so glittery!

*I am working on trying to set up a place to take better pics. So please ignore the bad lighting.

Too cute...

I love this time of year. Fall brings lower temps, beautiful colors, and the start to the holidays.

I am going to challenge myself to post something crafty at least once a week. I'm new to posting on a blog, so hopefully my pictures will get better.

Let's start with a card I made this afternoon. It turned out so stinkin' cute.
